About Dr. Jain
Dr. Jain is an experienced board certified plastic surgeon specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery
Ashish K Jain, MD was born in India to a father with a career in the United States Army. His family relocated to Georgia as a result of his father's career as a radiologist. His father, family, and friends in the medical profession were influential in his decision to pursue a career as a surgeon.
Dr. Jain attended Columbus High School, received a double major in Biology and Chemistry from Columbus College (now CSU). Dr. Jain then attended The Medical College of Georgia, followed by general surgery residency at Wake Forest University in North Carolina which led to his certification by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Jain then completed his training in Plastic Surgery at The University of Alabama in Birmingham under Dr. Luis Vasconez.
Dr Jain is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. Dr. Jain is currently the President of the Muscogee County Medical Society.
Jain Plastic Surgery, PC opened in 1998 and its current location includes a surgery center which is fully accredited by AAAHC, and is licensed by the state of Georgia.
Dr. Jain typically spends two days per week seeing pre-operative consultations and post-operative follow-ups. He spends the other three days operating at his on-site surgery center and he is also on staff at St. Francis Hospital, Doctors Hospital and Hughston Hospital.
